One of the major areas I get lots of questions that I’ve had about blogging, that can be answered succinctly in the five minute fix, and isn’t in the book about blogging (which is due out soon…ish), is ‘how can I blog with ease, if I’m managing more than one blog?’

The short answer

The ultra short answer is grab a blogging software that lets you blog from the desktop.  I use BlogJet, but it’s not free, so most people use Windows LiveWriter.  Set up your blogs, remember to switch, and go for it!

The longer answer

Actually, for once there isn’t a longer answer   But there are some additional tips you might quite like to know –  one, WordPress needs you to log into the back end (yourdomain.com/wp-admin), go to settings, writing, and switch on the xml-rpc protocol.  Then you can use your blogging software.

Have fun!
